🕵️ Spot the Threat
Read each scenario and identify the type of cyber security threat — or confirm it's safe
Phishing — fake messages pretending to be from a trusted source, tricking you into giving away personal info or clicking malicious links.
Malware — malicious software (viruses, worms, trojans, spyware) designed to damage or gain unauthorised access to a system.
Brute Force Attack — repeatedly guessing passwords automatically until the correct one is found.
Social Engineering — manipulating people (not computers) into breaking normal security procedures, e.g. by pretending to be IT support.
DoS Attack — flooding a server with traffic so it can't respond to real users (Denial of Service).
SQL Injection — entering malicious code into an input box to manipulate a database.
Safe — a legitimate message or situation with no red flags.
